Fall, Winter, Spring 2009 - 2010 Refunds

Refunds for most classes are processed automatically by Student Accounts Office. No Special Request Is Necessary.

If tuition payment was made by a bankcard only, refunds will be credited to the card; otherwise refunds will be sent up to Higher One. (Please make sure that your PSU ID is activated with Higher One.)

Action to process a refund begins the third week of the term, after the add period has ended. A refund report is generated weekly. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to process the refund.

Tuition Refunds

All dropped classes are subject to the refund schedule. For classes dropped:
  • prior to the second week of a term, students receive a 100% refund;
  • in second week of a term, students receive a 70% refund;
  • in third week of a term, students receive a 40% refund;
  • in fourth week of a term, students receive a 20% refund;
